In last year, I know there will be GNOME Hackfest in Yogyakarta and possibly in March. And I thought it wil be at end of March until Nuritzi tell in Endless Ambassador Telegram Group that it will be start from February 28th until March 2nd. I know this on February 25th. So I ask Kukuh Syafaat to go together and help since he also GNOME Foundation Members.
Actually at February 27th, there’s an outreach event at the local university. But I can’t manage to go because I arrived at Yogyakarta at 17:00 and it already finished. But I have dinner with few GNOME Developer (but no Mattias and Emel) for that day.
I killed Microsoft Windows Chinese version that already on it. Replace it with BlankOn Linux for a while. My plan exactly put openSUSE Tumbleweed.
First installation was not good enough. My pointer not working. So I use keyboard for it. Another issue is when USB installer plugged before computer on, installation will not going well (my experience, the system install on USB it self).
After installation finish, everything going well and good.

This year I promised to Edwin that I will help to find sponsorship. It’s because when GNOME Asia, he also help me. So vice versa.
I travel along with my team mates and GLIB (GNU/Linux Bogor) Community. Most of us are speakers in this event.
I know lot of GNOME Developers or GNOME Foundation Members. But this time, I know more about openSUSE/SUSE Developers and Community Members. I treat some of them Sate Klatak. 😀
I have session at secon day. But at first day, accidently I helping local committee to answer few questions from audience.
Actually I’m little bit famous in FOSS Community in this country. Hahaha. It’s just because I’m Release Manager of BlankOn Linux since few years ago and I also GNOME Foundation Member. Then in openSUSE, I become Coordinator of Indonesia Translation Team.
You can see how crowd my session from picture below:
Since few days ago I was struggling with u-boot on banana pi m2+. That arm device has limited information. Even on their forum (forum.banana-pi.org). They has lot of information but not clearly understandable by beginner. Also many people complain it.
I was googling every document that contain any information about it. Then trying one by one until finally found this step.
First, you need to clone mainline u-boot’s repository.
