Basic idea is I wanna have my own style guitar inspired from few famous guitar. I combined Ibanez JEM (Steve Vai’s signature guitar), Ibanez RG Series, Ibanez JS (Joe Satriani’s signature guitar) and Ibanez Egen (Herman Li’s signature guitar).
I choose Ibanez JEM model as a body. I ask to my friend (he’s famous guitar luthier in Indonesia) to make a copy of Ibanez JEM body with some modification.
It’s need modification because I used different pickup models, different tremolo/bridge, different volume-tone knob and pickup switch. I make the body more slim than the original even just few millimeters.
I put the Ibanez Egen style on back of the body. It’s scalloped on back side of bottom cutaway. It’s make our left hand easy to reach higher note/higher frets. I didn’t put the Kung Fu grip because it’s already have Monkey Grip.
I use Ibanez RG Neck. I got this part from online store. Actually I wanna reverse headstock model, but I can’t get it.
I put Ibanez ZR tremolo (I got it also from online store), put DiMarzio DP186 pickup on neck with purple cover (I also have yellow cover). On bridge side, I just put G&B pickup with vintage mounting ring.
I used similar switch and knob from Ibanez JS 2400.
Finally, this is complete finished guitar. ^_*

bingung kalo mau dipidioin bunyinya. karena suaranya akan terpengaruh dengan jenis efek serta ampli. gimana kalo main ke sini trus coba sendiri? 😀

saya baru tahu kalau ternyata bisa beli neck ibanez. ngapain susah-susah ngopi neck ibanez kalau begitu yah 😆
